An August recap, published on September 20
This retrospective collects the product changes introduced during August 2026. It was published on September 20 to fill the gap in our monthly update series. August brought ways to share a finished workflow, run it from another application and explore more video models on the same canvas.
Start with the July updates for the previous month. Image variations, upscale and outpaint are covered separately in the September updates.
Share workflows and start from the community
A useful workflow can now become a starting point for someone else. Add a name and a short description when making it public, so people browsing the community can understand what it does before opening it. Authors can also withdraw a workflow from public view.
The shared workflow detail page previews the nodes and connections. After reviewing the structure, copy the workflow into your own workspace and adapt its inputs and prompts to your project. You can also browse the template collection when looking for a place to start.
Run workflows through an API or Agent
The workflow API lets another application discover workflows, inspect their inputs and outputs, estimate a run and submit it for execution. A run can continue asynchronously while the caller checks its status or receives a completion notification through a webhook.
The Agent integration includes Skills for workflows, chat, creative generation and task tracking, with OpenAPI and function tool definitions for integration. This gives an Agent a way to use an existing creative workflow as one part of a larger task. The developer guide explains where to begin.
A workflow estimate is a budget guide; actual charges depend on the model calls made during the run. Retrying the same workflow submission with its original idempotency key does not create another run. Cancellation stops further scheduling, while a model request already in progress may still finish and incur a charge.
Grok Imagine and MiniMax-H3 join the video workflow
Grok Imagine video arrived in August with text-to-video and image-to-video generation, with duration options from 4 to 15 seconds. Its workflow reference input accepts up to seven images: one image acts as the first frame, while several images guide a multi-image reference generation. Multi-image reference mode supports up to 720P.
MiniMax-H3, also called Hailuo 03, adds text, first-frame image and multimodal reference video generation. It accepts up to nine reference images, three video clips and three audio clips, with 5–15 second durations, 768P or 2K output and native audio.
The corresponding workflow ports make the reference types visible on the canvas. Choose the model and check its duration, resolution and input limits before connecting your materials. Current availability and charges are shown in the product and on the pricing page.
Turn an image into a prompt, then keep editing
Image-to-prompt gives you a new way to start a workflow. Supply a reference image, generate a description of its visual content, then edit that prompt and connect it to a generation node. It provides a starting description for a new creation; it does not recover the exact prompt originally used to make the image.
The compact add-node panel now opens close to the point where you invoke it. Image cropping, connection movement and deletion, and automatic draft naming also received improvements. Together, these changes reduce the steps between bringing in a reference and adjusting the next generation.
Workflow template management, language and region settings, and localized interface text were refined during the month. Reference port labels and billing descriptions became easier to follow when using the English interface.
See where your credits went
Consumption records now distinguish membership credits from recharge credits. Generation uses available membership credits first, then covers the remainder with recharge credits. When a task uses both, the bill shows the two portions separately.
Monthly membership credit grants and clearing on expiry also have their own records. Membership credits apply to the current billing period; recharge credits do not expire. Balance, payment currency and bill descriptions received display improvements, and subscription status reconciliation helps keep paid subscriptions and account entitlements in sync.
