What changed from late September through early November

This article covers product updates introduced between September 21 and November 3, 2026. October brought new video model options, a more realistic onboarding path, improved preview layouts and faster workflow interactions.

For earlier releases, read the September updates, August updates and July updates.

Seedance 2.0, Fast and 2.5 for video generation

Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.5 are now available for video generation. These three models appear on the public pricing page with their respective retail tiers and reference limits.

The platform uses dual-channel routing with automatic failover, which provides more reliable service while billing settles at the selected retail price once per task. Choose the model based on your output requirements and check the current price tier before generating.

Check the current pricing and credit rules before selecting a model; a dated example is not a current quote.

Start the trial with one image

New accounts receive an introductory credit allowance that cannot cover a typical video generation. Acquisition flows and comparison CTAs now guide users to "Start with one image" as an affordable first step.

After a successful image generation, video remains an optional next stage. Users can explore the workflow with a single starter image within the introductory credit allowance before deciding to purchase additional credits or a subscription for video production.

Once a still image is approved, the image-to-video guide explains the next stage and its dated worked example.

Preview thumbnails below the main image

When generating multiple image candidates, preview thumbnails now appear below the main result instead of overlapping it. This layout keeps the full image visible while showing all candidates.

On narrow screens, the thumbnail row supports horizontal scrolling, making it easier to review and select from the full set of generated images without obscuring the active preview.

Faster workflow load and current-batch history

Workflow pages now defer secondary routes from the initial load, reducing the time before the editor becomes interactive. This change is most noticeable on the first visit to a workflow after opening the application.

The generation history panel now expands only the current batch by default. Previous batches remain collapsed until you open them, reducing clutter and making it easier to review the most recent results.

Additional improvements include unified input handling for workflow parameters and refinements to the creation and model selection interface.

Checkout and top-up improvements

The account balance page now offers clearer presentation of small top-up amounts and recharge options. Wallet and express checkout options appear where available, streamlining the purchase flow.

More subscription payment options have been added to support different regions and preferences. The credit purchase interface provides better visibility into current balance and recharge tiers.

GPT Image 2.5 on comparison pages

Existing image model comparison pages have been extended to include GPT Image 2.5 variants. These pages help users understand the differences in settings, output quality and credit consumption before selecting a model for their workflow.

Asset tagging and deletion

The asset library now supports batch tagging and deletion operations, allowing you to organize and clean up multiple files at once. Concurrent tagging operations have been optimized to handle larger selections more reliably.

Private edition: release notes and update notifications

Private edition deployments now persist release notes with the installed version. Administrators with upgrade permission receive update notifications and can access the upgrade page directly from the interface.

These improvements make it easier for private deployment teams to track changes and plan upgrades. Availability depends on the installed release and administrator settings.
